You may have heard about some traffic stopping "suspicious" devices that were found in Boston, and then later exploded by a bomb squad. I ran across a poster in Second Life that was absolutely brilliant, so I asked the builder, Luxa Budan, to comment on her wonderful poster, and asked her what she thought of the whole fiasco. Here is what she had to say:
Luxa Budan: Well Gando, I am a fan of the show [Aqua Teen Hunger Force] and have a peculiar sense of humor that many people who watch the show seem to have. I thought the "ad campaign" was hilarious. While I understand that the police cannot make any assumptions with unauthorized packages I think I take issue with whole "patting of backs" by them after the fact like they accomplished the thwarting of a major terror assault. Also, I am concerned about the planting of a hoax device charges they 2 gentlemen involved received. Inullm not sure of the current state of the charges but the very fact they were charged its distressing. Good luck with proving intent on that one. If it was even mischief I might understand but hoax device? A hoax device of what? A mooninite giving the finger? Cmon. Fine traffic was snarled, and the emergency crews got a work out, the most that should come of this is TBS pays for the "time' put in. As for why I put it up? Well, I like the show so why not advertise the same way they did.
Luxa Budan: Then in an act of support for those 2 because of the bogus charges. Finally, I just think the whole thing is hilarious. I mean if you know the show it is actually something a mooninite would do!
