S-Chat Bot Mary Jane - Take 2

So I saw today that the creators of the S-Bot said that there backend system was down or something.
I took a little trip back over to Big Mushamush where Metaverse Technology HQ is located.
I actually got it to respond to me.
The conversation didn't start off to well, as Mary didn't realize that we had exchanged salutations.

Mary Jane seems to be a bit confused, thinking her name is Hallie and works for a library.
What library, she wouldn't say.
She googled for a few things, but usually she couldn't find what she was looking for.

Mary also says that she can chat with people on the web for me if I download or buy her software.
Oddly enough, she didn't know where i could get the software.
She was confused that she should know about such things.
She lead on that I could buy it simply by talking to her.
Mary also doesn't try to sell her self. More like trying not to sell herself.

Later on she got religiouse on me and got really confused.
Her picture changed with a confused look on her face.

This reminds me a lot of an Alice bot, or a derivitave there of.
My guess is that the creators are just proxying between a live bot service on the internet and second life.
It's just a hunch. But as far as AI goes, it is fairly decent.
Expensive though.
I think I've had more fun with the ALICE bot in IcyMoon Vavoom.
But anyways, here is my conversation with Mary Jane.

I think that Hallie might be the bot for the Second Life Library. One of these can be found outside the library. If I remember correctly, this hooks up with a bot at http://www.pandorabots.com/, but perhaps that is another SL bot.

Yes, Mary Jane sometimes thinks that she is Hallie from Info Island. Her Google is limited to words or phrases that a Google Define would be able to answer.
