I just hooked up a new gadget. It's a slideshow viewer which displays the latest pix sent via blogHUD. The 'eye' opens and closes when I tell it to. This method is MUCH more efficient and less laggy than the way I did it with the 'flissl' screen. I intend to use this method to create a new flissl screen to view images from flickr.
