Da alcuni giorni la LindenLab ha bloccato tutti i sistemi bancari, creando panico tra gli investitori. Sul blog ufficiale: http://blog.secondlife.com/2008/01/08/new-policy-regarding-in-world-banks/ si possono leggere le nuove regole: "Dal 22 gennaio 2008 sarà proibito distribuire interessi come frutto di investimenti (sia in Linden dollar che altra valuta) tramite ogni postazione, come ad esempio ATM (Bancomat), presente su Second Life..." Pertanto nei prossimi giorni verranno comunicati gli sviluppi.
