The National Novel Writing Month for 2007 is only a couple days away. I tried out for the NaNoWriMo a couple years ago. I didn't get too far before my attention went elseware. I've been thinking about it for the past two months and decided I'm going to try out for it again. I did a search in SL and found a few groups and locations dedicated to the cause. If you would like to try out and write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days (Quantity counts, not quality), then head on over to http://www.nanowrimo.org/. The NaNo Bus and shrine here has a few tools to keep track of your progress here and a nice support group (SL Wrimos). at: sLiterary (120, 174, 33)

The/My theory is that the failure of your first year will give you a bit of a kick in the ass to get to work in your second, whereas if you won in your first you get hit with the sophomore smackdown due to thinking that "oh I've done this before, it'll be a Breeze".
All the best and type. Oh and one other thing *hands you a spork* go forth and Spork! (go into the Nanowrimo Ate My Soul forums and look for the NaNo's Secret Survival Tools thread for more information about the magical spork)
