I'm making some classic adapters for 45 RPM records. I started with an image that I built some prims over top of and ended up with a build consisting of 30 prims. Not too shabby, but with sculpted prims, I felt that I could do better. Enter Tokroten! This handy utility lets you draw a shape with 32 points and then extrude it. I couldn't come close to being able to draw the whole adapter. I tried to draw just an arm but either SL or Tokroten is a little buggy with complex shapes. I divided the arm into two and created 2 seperate scupted prims instead. In the end, I wound up with a build with just 7 prims! That's a savings of over 75%! at: Woodbridge (101, 120, 25)
