Notes from Second Fest

Here I sit, looking on at Second Life, a SL Music "Festival" presented by Intel and the Guardian which featured mainstream music acts, like the Pet Shop Boys, Groove Armada, Cinematic Orchestra, Hexstatic and more. Numbers reached into the hundreds, peaking around what seemed like 150 unique avatars.

This event certainly served to show that there is vast interest in large scale music events in SL. But the question of whether SL avatars will dance to ANY music was answered with a resounding "YES", as at least one DJ was heard mixing the likes of Mambo Italiano with Born Slippy by Underworld... Sure, its an unfortunate mix, but the crowd voted with their feet.

LMFAO, well my excuse for the mix of tunes was that A) it was sunday and I hadn't planned to do the afterparty and B) I was mostly mixing in requests.... as soon as i got the requests - I would mix them in... Hope you enjoyed it though :D

Haha, no excuse neccesary! That was a great party, and mix frankly...I just hate Mambo Italiano with a passion... Gotta say, you rocked the party.
